If you don’t deal with a clog quickly, the problem will only get worse until your drain is completely blocked and won’t drain at all. We recommend contacting us for professional drain service as soon as you notice a problem. Signs that your drain needs service include water moving slowly down the drain, pools of water in the bottom of the sink or shower, gurgling sounds in the drains, and unpleasant odors coming from the drain.
Here are 8 signs that you need drain cleaning services:
- Slow Draining: If your sinks, showers, or bathtubs are taking longer than usual to drain, it could be a sign of a clog in your pipes.
- Frequent Clogs: If you experience frequent clogs, particularly in the same drain, it could indicate a deeper blockage that needs professional cleaning.
- Foul Odors: Unpleasant smells coming from your drains are often a sign of trapped food, grease, or other debris decomposing in your pipes.
- Gurgling Noises: Strange noises, like gurgling or bubbling sounds, when water is draining indicate air trapped in the pipes, often caused by blockages.
- Multiple Clogged Drains: If more than one drain in your home is clogged at the same time, it could be a sign of a major blockage in your main sewer line.
- Water Backups: Water backing up out of drains, especially in lower levels of your home, is a serious sign that your drains are blocked and need immediate attention.
- Overflowing Toilets: If your toilet frequently overflows or has trouble flushing, even when there’s no visible blockage, your drain pipes might need cleaning.
- Fruit Flies: The presence of fruit flies around your drains can indicate a buildup of organic material, which provides a breeding ground for these pests.
Regular drain cleaning can help prevent these issues from escalating into more significant problems.

"They have a real team in place that actually answers their calls professionally and are friendly"
Like most people having to call a plumber is a dreaded experience. It's usually a quasi emergency and someone comes that knows how to fix it when you don't even know what's wrong.
Having had years of experiences with all types of situations I find Order a Plumber a place I've recommended a half a dozen times.
1) They have a real team in place that actually answers their calls professionally and are friendly.
2) They have a team of active plumbers so when other places are three to four days out they can often see you later that day or the next morning or afternoon. Cold weather days they could also have delays, but so far usually a bit better than others.
3) Don't expect handyman prices. They have plumbers, receptionists, well equipped trucks (many parts with them) and they often come back twice when they need a special part. That's their driving time and overhead for a large team.
4) It's not one greedy owner coming and making things up like some small shops do. The techs have always been honest and at least they tell you what you actually need.
5) I've seen some reviews laugh about buying a part at the store for $20 but one was after they took their time and resources to come over an diagnose. They have yet to charge me a diagnostic fee. They may do that but haven't so far. Many plumbers try to charge for showing up and only if you take their take it or leave it price do you get a credit. Order a Plumber has not done that once.
So for the difference of $50 I won't call three working plumbers and waste their time.
There are times to get multiple quotes.. for a new burner etc... but for a not too complicated hour or less job with 1-2 trips paying $300 isn't unreasonable. Especially when you consider the time and people all there to get someone honest out to you in a pinch.
Don't call them to change a new faucet. Call your handyman. Call them for an actual pipe leak, broken or other similar water problem where a plumbers expertise is needed. They don't shy away from digging or fixing even a messy job. Mud etc.
Good Company so far. Glad they are around. They just quoted me a time for a return that was few more days than expected, then agreed to squeeze me in.
There are many people with freezing pipes in this weather and can truly appreciate the work honest plumbers are doing.- Tracy K
